Has anybody ever had the experience where a lower rated player gets a freak win against you (which is fair enough, even if an unexpected result) but then runs off and refuses to play again.
It probably happens on blitz sites more but I am sure there will be others with a similar story of it happening in correspondence.
I have even had it happen during freindly blitz games in my club, where the guy stayed there the rest of the night without an opponent because he didnt like playing the lower rated players and had got his one win.

You can't force them to play. They're savoring it and protecting their ego. Just let them be and enjoy their win.

1. Leave the site;
2. Log in again under a new handle;
3. Sandbag your rating till it's at 700;
4. Find the dirtbag;
5. Slaughter him and then ask him how he got his rating;
6. Then masturbate (optional).
