Q+N or Q+R?

In an attacking position with tempo, which do you prefer? Queen with rook is undoubtedly powerful, but in close proximity I find Queen and Knight a formidable attacking force, for its greater range of combinations. They seem to completely compliment each other.

depends on the game. If the king is unprotected, Q & R, if not, Q + N, generally speaking of course.
