I was looking at the judges for the US Chess League's Game of the Year and was wondering why Alex Shabalov and Elizabeth Vicary were paired up to judge as a team instead of individually? It seemed kind of random to me, but maybe I'm missing something. Does anyone have any idea why they were paired up like that?
