Hi I hope someone can help explain something for me please. I was playing the game below and moved my H pawn from H2 to H4 checking the black king. I thought he could capture my H pawn using the En passant rule, but the Blitz game gave me the win straight away. I didn't mind, just wondering if it is a small bug in the program or my understanding of the rules was incorrect when checking? Thanks to anybody who helps cheers.

If that was a checkmate it's indeed a bug.
Are you sure your opponent didn't resign?

This is a somewhat common "Blitz chess application" error, I have seen it before. When a check is given with the advancing pawn, some applications don't allow en passant. Apparently RHP's Blitz application is one of them.
