What do these mean on a particular game screen?

Quick mode means you can send one conditional move.

You use it to get the game moving along. If you have just captured
a piece and the only move is for him to take it back you use quick
mode to make his move and you play your next move. It saves time.

If for some reason he does not take back then no harm done.
You are not making his move for him or forcing him to take back.

Deep mode is the same but you can enter a series of what you think
    are forced moves.
