I don´t understand people who calles theirself - quick movers. Then game begins they move fast, but if they start lose they only make one move in day, and playing with others at the same instant. i think they hope that can time you out.

I don't understand why there are so many threads on this topic.

Read one of the other thousands.

Why did you even create it? You want people to agree with you?

I might move quick if (1) I know the opening or (2) the moves seem obvious, but if I find I have overstretched myself and my position is worse than expected (even losing) I will slow down, take my time, come back to the game half a dozen times and try and pull myself out of it.

I certainly do not wish to win on time but I need to take my time to ensure I get it right and do not compound the error. Most reasonably good players will do likewise as soon as they realise a position is more difficult than expected.

I cannot time you out as your clock is not ticking away and I am well within my rights to use all the time available to me.

If you only want quick games then only play 1/0 games and don't complain when your opponent takes 23 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds for each move. Click the skull if you feel you cannot give him 24 hours and 1 second.

I've been in situations where I create a game titled something like "fast game" and I get someone who plays 2 moves then leaves for the day. In fact, as I type this, there's one game I have titled "Join if you can finish in 1-2 hours" and my opponent did just that, play 2 moves and went absent. I can't trash the game because of the number of moves already made. Really frustrating πŸ™‚

I can understand why it can be frustrating for non-subs.

I subscribe so it doesn't affect me.
