What is your quickest pawn promotion?
  2. 21 Nov '08 22:52
    Five moves.

    24 hrs.

I joined an office as a tea boy - the next day I was moved up
    to photo copier attendant.

    Why do you ask?

Just finished a game with a quick(ish) promotion. That got me wondering.

    Sorry Greenpawn.
Just making a cheap joke to see if I uploaded my avatar correctly.
It's not a good one, just something I threw together with paint.

    Back to the original thread.

I cannot recall any quick 'pawn' promotions from my games.

I found this horror of horrors.

It's a promotion in 5 moves from an actual game.
