    I had someone play Damiano against me last year. I didn't know what it was called until afterward, but I guarantee I'll not forget it.

    Bit of a shame really.

    Fischer met it once in a simul and drew - he thought he was playing a
    patzer not realising that Black was a reasonable player so played a
    handful of weak moves.

    Yeah, history definitely gave him the shaft. Maybe we should start calling it Damiano's Non Defense.
