I took your advice on how to get to 1400, now help me get to 1500. please
So it worked hey. I wonder how everyone else is doing with this.
I posted that around 3 weeks ago? and it definetly look like something clicked for you around that time by your graph 🙂
Originally posted by JoniGThe reason I wrote 1400 is that this is online and I can't tell if someone will actually do what I tell them or not.
Your graph hovers around 1190s and then after you took the advice 300 hundred points straight up! It's cute.
But I don't think RahimK is helping people over 1400, he justs helps to get to 1400. The rest is up to you...🙂
If it was in person then I would truly gaurantee it since I can monitor and make you work at chess instead of lying and saying you are but your rating doesn't improve.
For those who want to get over 1400:
I think doing that will get you over 1400 in the case of most people who actually follow it, so I say just keep this up and follow my advice that I wrote before and see your rating soar over 1400. Start doing more tactics puzzles slowly say 5-10 a day in your head and check the solution and make sure you understand it.
So what about you other people who tried it? Where are you guys right now, close to 1400? I think there was 6 of you guys?
What you get is what you expect. If you want to reach 1500, you have to expect yourself to attain it, but also put in the work necessary.
Analyze your games.
Look at your strengths and weaknesses. Make the proper corrections necessary in your game.
Every chessplayer has their own weaknesses. By developing your pieces well, and avoiding critical blunders, you can easily attain a rating of at least 1500.
I find studying and playing throuh master games helps. Chessgames.com and chessbase.com are two databases.
