I was wondering why my rating went down when I won a game?
Game 3284624
In this game, I won and my rating went down form 1412 to 1400.
Also his rating went up from 1044 to 1068!!

That can happen when you're still provisional. Basically since you're playing a much lower rated player than your provisional rating, it's assuming you're not quite as good as it estimated. If you play, and win, games closer to your 1400 provisional rating, you'll see more of an upward climb.

Thanks joneschr, I'll try to play players with the same rating as me from now on.

This only applies when you are provisional. After 20 games your rating can never go down when you win or up when you lose, although it may change very little if you play someone several hundred points away from your rating and the result goes to form.

in other words, if you can play 2400s and loose, you'll start with 2000 lol

😵 I love this example of a player manipulating the provisional system by using multiple accounts (xe was banned).
