Resigning a game

is there anyway to get rid of a game if the other player hasnt moved in over 3 days? I resigned a game but it said i lost. i know there is a way but im not sure what. surely they must lose if they havent moved within the time period.

If you go to My Games and look under action you should see a lovely little skull.

Click on the skull to end the game as a win for you.

Also make sure you understand the time controls for each game. Depending on the time controls, they might have a lot longer than 3 days before they have to move.
