BTW: I was just playing on RHP blitz and this 1300 told me "GG" and immediately left after a timeout win in a position which I was better. Maybe I'm the only one bothered, but I hate when people do that. It seems silly to say "GG" after a game you didn't earn. And yes, I don't consider a timeout win in a game where I just forgot about the time, a real win even though it counts the same.
Can't you just take them saying "GG" as a compliment? Was it a good game? And the reason why it is the same as a win is because if you didn't think for as long as you did maybe you wouldn't find the same moves. That is my opinion...not to put you down or anything.

We were both down to just a few seconds. It could have happened to either one of us.

I take it is a complement when I really feel it was a good game and earned. A half-finished game with countless errors is not really a "GG" in my book. Although, I wouldn't have minded if he said "GG" but stuck around for at least 5 seconds so I can give a response. I would have probably said something like: "That was an interesting game, too bad it was cut short." That's just me.

But did you play a good game? And that is YOUR opinion of a compliment, it might not be his...my point is that we shouldn't jump to negative conclusions...in these circumstances it is better for everybody to jump to the positive conclusion. 🙂

Yeah I logged on and played one against Yuga and one against ilywrin. I was lucky enough to win both. 🙂

Nd5 at one point would have been crushing. I saw it but everything looked bad.

Regarding my posted games, my play was completely horrible in those games and any player with no positional understanding could have played better. Intend to take a more disciplined approach to the blitz games, in seeing the board, developing a repertoire, further enhancing chess understanding so I can play better in time pressure and play with some cajones (energy) .

^^That's my plan because although I do not value blitz so much if I play I want to do well. Making mistakes displeases me because although I do not at all care about my standard of play relative to other people, I enjoy having good ideas; although I know how to study well and thoroughly - constructive suggestions for improved performance welcome. 🙂

Yeah I discounted Nd5 too early because I didn't want to trade the Nf6 for the Nf3, not realized that Nd5 ef Nf6 forces Bf6, which just wins immediately.
