Again uncomfortable about the display of my theoretical thoroughness (position after 13. ... Nd5), but the lead-in to Rxe7 and continuation seem nice and perhaps sound? That does not mean my opening play was sound though 😕

Quite contented about how this one worked out, even without g5?? Black should be in immense trouble.

I'm not a great blitz player, this ended strangely, i think me or my opponents internet connection was lost as his time went to nil but the game wasn't awarded to me

Anyhow



I'm black, Bh3 was a nice idea but forgetting that gxh4 Bg2+ followed by Bf3# doesn't work because white's queen can come to the rescue! Luckily my opponent forgot too..

It ended unclearly, not sure where the killer blow would come, but it shows a nice idea to open the g-file for your own rook to use to attack with. I think i had the edge with the pressure mounting and maybe there would be a snap, but the connection was lost!

The h4 pawn is cute indeed, you can easily miss such a thing in advance.
