- 50 000 games based on RHP's top 160 players
Known issue: only have rating data for the last 300 games of each player.
I am in the process of importing that into Chess Openings Wizard just so it will create a database of variations and such for my own personal amusement. It occurred to me that anyone interested in trying to use this for learning would gain more if there were two separate files (one showing the top players as white and another of the top players as black).
I thought I would add some interesting statistic before clicking 'Post', but the import is taking a long time. I guess I will have to be insightful later 😉

the currently 160 top players ? or include the 3(b) players ?
It was based on the top 160 as listed by RHP's "Player Tables" at the time. I'm not sure if that includes banned players; it wasn't a consideration.
