Game 4129675
Randomly clicked on a game between two players who I would say have decent ratings. I fell out of my chair.

haha
what was the guy with the queens rated again?!?
Originally posted by KaworukunHe might just think more material has to be better, or maybe he's ticked off that the guy with the lone king doesn't have the sense to resign. So he gets as many queens as he can to try to send a message. But the risk of having too much material is inadvertantly allowing stalemate.
No my point is why is he getting two queens? In fact if a person doesnt resign a lost game, I go out of my way to mate with a rook to make a point. Do people really need to get 2 queens to mate with?
Originally posted by Mad RookI agree. In many cases, it's that much easier to mate with more material.

He just blundered because he didn't see the stalemate. Probably because he got cocky and assumed that his opponent was playing to win.
