In my opinion 39: f5 looks like it ties down blacks knight and ought to win the game.
Edit: Actually maybe it isn't that easy, but it looks possible.
in the game, i saw that, but i was afraid that g5 would block off that side of the board, and i wouldn't be able to do anything.
however, g5 is a dark square, and i could pick it off with my bishop.
