Russ - make a vote : kramnik or topalov ???

it seems the chess world suffers again from idiocy and bad sportsmanship.

my vote is absolutely kramnik's way (01/10/2006)

kramnik won two games, topalov has won none.
kramnik is ready to play under the rules that were agreed, topalov is the trickster, whinger backed by a chess mafia determined to avoid letting the unprofitable but better player be crowned unilateral king.

ps - i am not a subscriber, but probably will be again soon if i can be sure that i will not start too many games 😉

We should all vote, and if the match continues players who voted correctly should get extra recs.

And it should be made public who you voted for. That way Topalov fans won't just sit their and sing his praises while they try to snatch some extra recs without ridicule.

perhaps the use of this thread could be to decide the best wording of the vote ....

to keep it very simple:

Kramnik or Topalov ?

(K is before T in the alphabet).

Excluding 3a-ers, I think this will be a vote something like 95% in Kramnik's favour.

Definitely K... their past record doesn't lie, and Topalov has been playing incredibly badly.

I dont seem why so many people are ready to slate Topalov over the protest, maybe his teams protest wasnt in the best intrest of chess but the arbiters should have rejected it and none of this would have happened.

If any of you are saying you wouldnt be concerned about your OTB opponent dashing in and out of the bathroom after each move I wouldnt believe you 😛

While I wanted Topalov to win before all this blew up, I now want Kramnik to win.....not so much because of the protest etc but because of the fact that Topalov looked pleased with himself! when he signed his scored card for the nulled game......like he had just done something special.....pfffff

And Danailov is even worse, the world of chess is being torn down around his head and hes f***ing smiling his ar** off about a nulled game that is helping to turn chess into a joke, that really p***s me off.

On the other hand I havent seen one photo of Kramnik looking happy or pleased about this situation.
