Sorry if this is silly, but I'm just getting back into chess and I bought Chessmaster 10th Edition on the cheap just to have some guidance.
My question is about using the Game Analysis function. What does Score mean? It's usually followed by a number like .81 or whatever. Also there's a Depth fraction, like 1/10 or 2/9. What do these mean?
The Game Analysis also tells me my worst move, which looks like this: Worst move: 2, f5, Decrease: 99.14
Do these numbers mean much?
Note that I lost this game on purpose just to get some data to show. Thanks in advance.
I have cm9000 and score relates as to who is winning. +1 means white is winning by a pawn(not necessarily in material but positionally as well) and a minus score means black is winning. Depth refers to how many moves ahead it has looked. And the last part must be new in 10th edition because I don't have that
