okie... can I solicit some advice? Anyone know what the usual plans for white are in the sicilian rossolimo? I need a good anti-sicilian weapon. I'm sick of getting stomped around the board in the smith-morra...

Not an anti-sicilian but give the 'grand prix attack' a try,I think it might suit you.You get to play f4 😉

Sir Lot.

I'm sure you always manage to find a way.But here you can play it at move two! It's like your beloved KG but without the loss of the f-pawn 😀

Should it not be to your taste you can always read my post in the general forum where I explain how to beat the sicilian.

HAHAHAHA!!

Sir Lot, I commend you. Your strategy in the general forum is indeed brilliant 🙂

Although <obligatory> I'm not so sure how I feel about going in against a sicilian when DEATH is on the line! </obligatory>

If you cannot beat the Sicilian ,then play 2. f4. That way you will never lose.
