Anybody as tired as me of playing Sicilians? The problem is most of the lines have been analyzed to death. I'm starting to feel my way around the Scandinavian against e4, which I always thought was a stupid opening. Now I find out there's more to it than I thought. I think there's only a couple of books out there whereas there's millions of najdorf's alone. Anybody else have an underestimated defence which can be used against the common e or d4. And please, no French people allowed. That's as bad as the Sicilian.

Pirc. And you can utilize your Sicilian experience in some of its lines too.

See: I'm only half-French:-)

Budapest, Polish defence, Alkhine defence.

If you play 1. e4 d5, you could very well find yourself playing the french :-)

On d4: Black Knights Tango. I was always fascinated with the name🙂 And opening is occasionally used even on a GM level.
