1. Bxc2 Qxc2 2. Rxf3 (Kxf3 3. Nxd4+!) The only bad thing is that 2. ..Rh6 regains the piece.

The only bad thing is that 2. ..Rh6 regains the piece. Wow, looks like that is true...

white to play. Probably 1. Qa8+ but after 1...Kg7 I can not find anything 😛
Joined 28 Apr '08 Moves 77310 maybe 1. Qa8+ kg7 2.kxf7 Kxf7 3.Qxa7+ ..... 4. Qxh7
Two pawns and rook for a knight.
Joined 23 Jun '05 Moves 3583 what about 1.Qa8+ Kg7 2.Bxe5+ Qxe5 3.Qh8+ Kxh8 4.Nxf7+?
Joined 28 Apr '08 Moves 77310 but that would be queen and bishop for queen, rook and pawn. By a point system wouldn't you rather trade rook and two pawns for a knight?
Joined 23 Jun '05 Moves 3583 No.
My variation leaves white a knight up in a simplified ending that's easily winning - the knight would simply round up all of black's pawns and leave white with a trivial task.
How does white win two pawns anyway? I don't see it
