He's just giving an example of how bad he is at endgames.
He is saying that if he had a K+B+K vs a K he couldn't checkmate.
I wouldn't feel bad about it though, this situation rarely happens. They have thread on this checkmate in the chess forum and it should help you with that.

Just realised he means King , bishop and knight. I was trying to figue how he had 2 kings on one side.
