A good podcast interview/chat between David Smerdon and Jonathan Rowson on the whole messy affair.
Without doubt the best reasoning I've heard so far from two good players who also bring certain
expertise in their field outside chess to the table.
Go in open minded, it's good, very good (and long, I've only heard half of it but I will catch it all later today.)

@daodejing saidThis whole affair wouldn't look out of place on the afternoon soaps. Maybe they should insert it somewhere in the next episode of As the Stomach Turns, All My Vermin, General Bedpan, or The Young and The Brainless. 🙄
