To many pawn moves, get your pieces out, castle and then go after your opponent.

Exactly, a blunder doesn't count unless you take advantage of it.

gave up a pawn to try to capture a bishop, then it got complicated on the other side of the board, and I ended up succumbing to the pawns, only to get a last second reprieve
