Dislodgedabbie set up a vacation flag just before his impending downfall. Is he trying to keep his rating from going down until a certain point? I'd ask him directly, but I assume he won't be around until his "vacation" is over.

Does anyone else smell fish?

His profile says he'll be back on the 21st. If he wanted to delay the end he could just sit there and wait for fourteen days until his timebank runs out, so personally I think he is just letting his opponents know that he will be away for a few days.

there's a problem exactly like that on chess tactics server. I always thought it was far-fetched, and could never happen in a real game. now I know better.
