something wrong with the blitz site?

I hit the play blitz button and get the regular page but zero players, which is odd because I am there, there should be at least ONE player if I am there, 'you are such a zero' jokes aside.

Yeah, I'm getting the same thing. I should at least see my name even if no one else's. This is still a beta feature.

I looked at the Uches website. It's quite nice. If only it worked better...

Yeah, it is good that is uses flash instead of java, that way it is easier for people to use at work without the irritation of some networks blocking java based applets.
On the downside....
1.No 3 move repitition
2.Timeouts always win, even with no material on the board.
3.It is possible for sombody to disconnect from a losing game and still win, the system does not register them gone and eventually the opponant gets frustrated and leaves - getting disconnected.
4. Sometimes en passent does not work properly
5. Page 1 of the ratings list has become a bit of a farce.
6. If you let go of a piece without it being right in the middle of a square, it can move it to an adjacent square - this commonly happens with long rook exchanges.

Apart from those issues, it is not too bad.
