Spassky's Trap and James Todd

Only Chess

I’ve always felt left out when people at the bus stop discuss their favourite artists
because I never had one, But now at last I have a favourite artist and can join in.

Three puzzles (actually there are four)

Enik - Eiffel, Correspondence, 1957

White is losing but can you see how they saved the game.

The names and place where I saw one of last weeks puzzles and from the
source we move onto a spot of gamesmanship that went on in the Spassky
- Korchnoi 1977 candidates match. (I spent ages making the sliding flag.)

Then we see a wonderful trap Spassky set Korchnoi in 1977.and that in turn
leads to an RHP game with the same theme but the RHP player fluffed it.
