Oh geez. Is this some kind of joke? Anyway, if it's not, this is what I tell to all the n00b's up in this crib. Haha! Develop ALL your pieces to where they can control the center(four squares of the board.). Castle as quickly as possible, hopefully kingside. When your opponent makes a move, ask yourself, "What is he threatening?". Visually look at the board and imagine all the squares his piece covers. If it threatening something, decide how to react. Don't learn opening theory. Just develop and castle. Concentrate on Middlegame and endgame skills. Learn how to win K + P vs. K endgames. Learn some rook endgames. Learn mating patterns. Look over some Paul morphy games once you have this down. Oh, and the most important of all! STUDY SOME FREAKIN' TACTICS! ALOT OF THEM! OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Do them till you can find the win instantaneously. That's it my friend. Now get going! π
I was thinking that unplugging the computer could end the game REAL quick! π
My suggestion on a serious note is to do what TONY says. Do NOT, I repeat, Do Not go for the 5 move kill when playing anyone over 1100 as the chances that they will help you win quickly are slim.
Good luck and study TACTICS TACTICS TACTICS, oh and you may want to look at some openings to get some idea of what you want to do for your first moves. Bryan

Yeah I know. If not, a nice Mp5 or Ak47 will do the trick. Some LAW's or G2G missiles work too!

Never under estimate an opponent especially if he is on red alert11
