Why does everyone assume that people who subscribe don't cheat?
Is it because they think it's dumb to pay to cheat?
Well, isn't it equally pointless to play to cheat?
I don't think most of us understand these guys well enough to make assumptions about them.
Maybe they want more games, to win faster!

True, I was just interested because it seems like many members do not consider players to be cheating if they're subscribed and I was worried most people had this strange idea.
dance master: show me a thread just like this one and I will stop.

I just checked latest ten players banned for engine use. None of the ten were subscribers. I think if you checked all the banned engine players, the vast majority aren't subscribers. That is not to say there aren't a few subscribers on the cheating list. If you think about it, why should you pay to pretend you're a good player when you can do it for free? I don't know why players cheat, so i guess trying to follow their thought processes is a waste of time. I believe some clan players didn't want to let down their team members even tho they didn't have the time to play a heavy load of games competently. That's not an excuse. It's the closest i can get to a reasonable explanation. Many of the cheaters are just plain nut jobs who have no interest in chess, just in themselves.
