In this recently finished game, my opponent really thought he was winning after I made some stupid move, but right before he was about to finish me or at least damage me, I came in with a 'surprising' move and succeeded to win in one long mating sequence.
He might have escaped from it, but I would still have made a nice comeback.
I'm quite proud of it, so here it is:

What was the "surprising" move you speak of?

My guess is that he meant 12.Qxb7. A classic example of Black attacking before he had developed all his pieces, and White punished him for it. Good job!

Quite a nice game, well done... although when you say that your opponent "really thought he was winning"... I would prefer his position after Qxb7 Bg7 I think... although I may be utterly wrong of course. Anyway, congrats!

    Isn't 12.Qxb7 Bg7 13.Qc8 mate? You'd want to end the game faster? 😉

Hmm... yes, I should have paid more attention. 😳 I still like the position for its aesthetic value though. 😛

I seem to have missed that move indeed...

Today I played another game of which I'm even prouder, it was a blitz game against an opponent who's pretty good, although still an amateur. I especially like the last moves, as it was a really nice(according to me) unavoidable mate in one.
