I was accused on this site when someone said that all I do is move pieces around at random.

I object.

I turn the western game into Thai chess as soon as I am able. I move to take out one bishop ( leaving the remaining one a week off color bishop ) and then attack with my queen as soon as the other player moves out their queen and take a trade.

then we are left with the Thai game. rooks and knights.

this is what I play for in the opening game.

I have a plan.

( I sold my budapest 1957 chess tournament trophy to pay the rent on my London flat several years ago or otherwise I would post it ).

I know how to play chess.

I just ( like bobby fischer ) no longer care about it.

It's A-OK with me if you want to operate this way. It just seems like a waste of time.

Perhaps the person who told you was correct about that. Did you develop your pieces? Did you have a plan? Did you have a back up plan? If not then he could be correct in your just moving pieces around the board.
