People are getting smarter just as computers are. The difference is that we learned how to program computers before we learned how to properly develop a human mind. Nowadays there are many children who are sufficient prodigies in many disciplines. With our increasing knowledge of the development of the human mind there is no doubt that in the future we will only have continually better human chess players as well as computers and at one point the game of chess itself may become somewhat of a novelty as it would have been mastered by many more people then it has ever been before. I see the future as an intellectual revolution for humanity, with widespread knowledge there will be widespread intelligence on this planet. As well, in 100 or more years people may develop different games similar to chess that are more intricate and complicated in order to satisfy future super-geniuses.
That is of course, if global warming doesn't get us. 😵
