Swiss Gambit or anybody from the Problem Club - how about
composing
one of those Christmas tree problems (a mate in 2 or 3) that you
often see in magazines at this time of year.

meanwhile the rest of you can concentrate on inventing the
Santa Claus Opening. There really should be such an opening.

I'd say any opening that you mess up so badly that your opponent practically gets the game as a gift could be called a Santa Claus Opening.

What kind of opening should be Santa Claus opening.. ? It should feature some Xmas gift wrapped as a fine gambit.
