I bet Naka is on Cloud 9, finally breaking the schneid.

What is it now? Maggy, 10, Nakki 1?

    Something like that.

However, psychologically, the first win is a big one. Naka's confidence has got to go up for future encounters.

I hope he scores some more wins. The rivalry between Carlsen and Naka could be very interesting - the incrementalist vs. the unbalancer - if Naka can win some of the games.

I am glad you posted this. The media has been full of bad news and garbage, and this is a welcome respite.

Not a good omen for Karjakin. Carlsen absolutely destroyed him at Bilbao today.

Magnus must be P.O.'ed about losing to Naka. He destroyed So in just 26 moves today.

Giri hung for a draw against Carlsen, so at the half way point, Magnus has 10 points(3 for a win, 1 for a draw) and Naka is 2nd with 7. Rest day tomorrow, then Rd. 6-Nakamura-Carlsen. Magnus will be playing for a win all the way in that one!

Giri made a hash of his position and Magnus crunched him in Rd.9, so Carlsen has clinched Bilbao with one round to go
