Never played a more perfect opponent than him yet. No flaws in opening middle game or th ending. I faught hard throughout the game.
I offered him a draw in move 17 but he of course refused. His endgame calculation was clockwork orange. π
We talked a bit before and during the game. However, after I resigned, I asked him which chess club he plays at and what his FIDE rating was, he never answered.
He could be the next Weyerstrass if he keeps crushing everyone like this.

You seem to be implying (none too subtly) than SerkanCandan is a cheat. However he had a much higher rating than you and he simply outplayed you in the ending after a fairly equal game. Generally the difference between average players and strong ones is most pronounced in the ending.
I am a very weak player compared to Serkan.
My yahoo rating over 2000 games is 1600 and my playchess rating under 100 games is 1700. On the other hand, Serkan once became 5th player on a correspondence website according to his profile.
I do not think that I will ever reach 1920 elo he holds right now.
I am just curious about this Turkish FIDE master or probably an IM. Maybe he is not registered to FIDE or his real name is not Serkan Candan.
He doesn't seem to be very good at blitz chess, here is a list of his games on uchess.com: http://www.uchess.com/viewprofile.php?col=0&srt=asc&userid=53042
However he reached a very high slow play rating on gameknot.com, at least 2388.
I've found that in over the board chess, players who are very good at slow chess are generally good at blitz as well. I guess those who aren't good at blitz just don't play it!

I never said or implied that User 379183 is a cheat. I would never do such a thing in the forums. If I felt that he cheated in our game I would send feedback immediately and not bother to post in the forums.
I am just extremely happy that a very stong Turkish correspondence chess payer chose our site.
I don't think he's a cheat. As I said in my first post I think he just outplayed you in the ending after a fairly equal game. I was trying to ascertain how strong a player he is. I doubt if he is an IM. I know the ratings of a couple of players in the top ten on this site and they are nowhere near IM strength, though they are good enough to draw or even beat IMs / GMs occasionally.

You did not need to ascertain me however, because I played him recently and I remember that he strategically outplayed me. There were not much key tactical moments in the game as you noticed. Almost none.
His strong undertsanding of the endgame is apparent as he expertly drove his king to h3, assuring the win.
Originally posted by kenanBlack played a nice game, but it really wasn't that difficult. White created too many weaknesses by making unnecessary pawn moves - h4 combined with f4 is horrible! Any 1900 player on the Black side should be able to win that endgame. Sorry I don't mean to be harsh, but the game was typical example of how to beat a much lower rated opponent.

Anyway, I was misunderstood I guess. As David Tebb said I am a horrible player but I am willing to learn by observing, listening and interacting with strong players like Serkan and David.
I was just curius about this young Turkish guy in his early 20s because there have not been any in RHP with such a high rating. I hope he quickly rises up to top five where he deserves, making my country and me more proud.
