Iccf tried. Negative.

Anyway, I was misunderstood I guess. As David Tebb said I am a horrible player but I am willing to learn by observing, listening and interacting with strong players like Serkan and David.

I was just curius about this young Turkish guy in his early 20s because there have not been any in RHP with such a high rating. I hope he quickly rises up to top five where he deserves, making my country and me more proud.
I see ... you were looking for SerkanCandan....initially I thought you were looking for Weyerstrass, who is there just not near top. A different "cut" of players over there.
Best regards,
Tom

Weyerstrass is famous enough in RHP forums, I do not need to check his name there.

He is still provisional. I dont doubt he will be high rated. I gave up my chance to be high rated by playing fast to enter tournaments. I was at one pt 1899 then lost to a 14-- and now I will have to fight back to the 1900s. I am wishful to make the top 100 by the end of the yr. bc I have to wait for ppl to move. I will be top 20 in 2yrs if I study hard and remain careful and slow moving (which will be the hardest bc I love chess so much)

You must looooooove chess and you must have the ability to play onlince chess while sleeping --or you don't sleep.

You finished almost 50 rated games in 5 days in a correspondence site. That's something. You amazed me already. I will not be surprised if you get into top 10 in a year.

Congratulations.

Thanks I am a otb and blitz player its all I know. I can not stand not playing. I think on avg 24mins. I am trying to improve my otb to become a master by finding my style of play so I need a large sampling of openings. I also don't use books or other resources which shortens my response time. I would have finished more but some ppl stop moving in some not so good positions.

As the Turkish people say, every brave man eats yoghurt differently.

I tend to research all possible moves now, lines and sublines of the opening positions in either online databases like RHP gamesexplorer or delve into my chess books and see what Kasparov, Kotov or Tal have to say.

It's the nature of corresspondence chess, it allows you additional time to think about a move for a long time.

It's my weakness to play quickly though, that's why I try to adjust to 7/7 time controls and only play 7/7.

Eveyone is different.

that is prob why I get into bad positions early because of my lack of research but my personal otb knowledge allows me to fight back to equal and then go on to win against less seasoned players. I dont even know how to access game explorer that so many speak of on here. Maybe I should get with the program and use these tools.

Do not underestimate those tools. With logical use of these tools ccan enhance your understanding of the game vastly.

My last Game 3912460 is a perfect example how to win right in the opening without much effort.

I think this guy is the next Weyerstrass.
He badly needs to update his profile:

In short, my opponent blundered by automatic recapture. The correct continuation was Ne2 (the power of Qc7 move is apparent here) defending the c3 spot. Other alternatives were not popular.
