Having looked at that game in detail I can see clearly why black resigned.

This was a masterful opening by white which clearly showed that they meant business by playing ruthless attacking chess.

Many thanks for posting the game. I will need to use that opening in the future.

Just ran the Kingshill - Skeeter game given on the previous page through a box.

100% match up including the resignation.

No time to post the all details, I'm preparing the Skeeter Easter Thread.

I don't think Paul's post was removed, I think he typed exactly what is still there, sat back, opened a six pack and watched to see what developed....

I believe you are right. He didn't want to publicly accuse RJ/SR of cheating, so he implied it by his post.

That is an interesting analysis. It looked to me like black got outplayed by good technique in the ending and played on when a clear draw was staring him in the face. Perhaps that is a symptom of lack of practice with complex endings - technique smashes bare tactics.

Think again he's gone. Player banned from site. It was a 3c violation for persistently harrassing himself. Apparently he was convinced he was a returning Paul Morphy and not Leggett and wouldn't let it go.
