I invented this opening to have a bit of a hack at scandinavian players, who usually prefer to play it very cautiously.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing; do you have any interesting games where black doesn't fall for the trap?

If you search the RHP database you will find another couple of
Tyrannosauruschex games with this line.

Another player, revgard is also playing it.

In the 1400-1900 section quite a few other players have tried it but
none have pulled off the Tyranno Trap.

edit: for me this Nf3-g5 is the "mouseslip variation" when I am too slow to realise that Black has played d5 instead of something else.

Too many queen moves.
Hilarious. With white completely undeveloped at the end, it looks more like a Proof Game than a competitive game of chess.

This is the most common win, I get it all the time in 1 min games.

This is also a very common and similar theme to the other game.

Actually, a true story, I only thought of the Nd6# in the first game because I have been thinking about that 'kiss the queen' variant that Ivanchuck invented recently and how moves like those are playable to give a crack at the enemy queen.

It looks like the Englund Gambit with opposite colours ...
