Are you aware that after 7. ... Kd6 you were in a lost position? Your opponent fell in a cheap trap.

I appear to have come up with a novelty, as none of you have mentioned this. As a kid, I got countless players with my opening "preparation" 😛
1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Nc6 3.Qh5 Nf6 4.Qxf7#
When I was 8 years old, I was playing a game in school and got a classmate with this one

In the first game, doesn't 7. Nxe4 win a piece for a pawn for white?
i.e.
1. c4 Nf6 2. Nc3 e5 3. e4 Bc5 4. d3 Nc6 5. Bg5 h6 6. Bh4 Nxe4 7. Nxe4 Qxh4 8. Nxc5 1-0
edit: hm, or black will just play Bb4+ in between. Never mind... 😉
