Kramink has just beaten Anand in the following game.

Chess Grandmasters all over the whole World agree that this is best play for both sides.
The Sicilian has indeed been bust and all books on the Sicilian have been removed
from the book shops.

After reading your post I gathered together the cream of Oxfordshire chess and we have poring over this game for several hours. We think we have found an improvement for Black - rather than delaying e6, could he not have played it a move earlier?

Well according to the press release this is the perfect Sicilian
with the best moves by each side.

I was just thinking...Pawn Riot is playing some of the guys from
RHP as White v a Sicilian - I wonder if he has seen the game.

12..Nd7 was an amazingly bad move, retreating a perfectly developed piece to a bad square (White wasn't even threatening f4, because his d4 knight would be pinned). If Black had played almost any other move instead, he would have had a fine position.

Indeed. Wouldn't 12. ... Qxd4 have won immediately for Black?

These tries were bust on page 6 of the

PAWN RIOT VS The Forum Move 2

thread. Have a look at it.

Well spotted Dave - 12...Qd4 is a trap and Black losses as
explained on page 6 of

PAWN RIOT VS The Forum Move 2

I'm beginning to think this isn't a Kramnik vs Anand game at all. It's probably only two second tier Grandmasters like Short and Nakamura.

It might be Kramnik's dog versus Anand's cat.

"This cannot fail." Greenpawn

Famous last words. 🙂

Who was it that said that? Was it General Custer?
On second thought, I think he said "These look like friendly Indians."
🙂

It must have been the captain of the Titanic. 🙂
