but just to show that all is not always lost ... look what appeared:

IMHO, the easiest way to make a proper link is to surround it by [gid] and [/gid].
In your example it would be (without spaces):
[gid] 964352 [/gid]
To create:
Game 964352
Lau
Or you could just click on "Insert link to a game" under the post window, then fill in the game ID...
Game 964352
and, you could add the position by inserting the FEN, which is available when you view the game history, and then click on "Get PGN"
This guy from over chess club never resigns..he's an old senior and likes to drag on the game even when he is losing really bad. anyways last thursday we had the last round of our monthly tournament. his opponent was up a queen a knight and pawns vs his lone king... he made another queen for fun so now he has 2 queens a knight and some pawns vs a lone king...
the senior still didn't resign and kept on moving his king around and finally announced STALEMATE!!!!
and now he will truly never resign!!!

Game 931534 Another reason, except that I was the one winning,
This is a nice example also. I had the advantage in the begin, but because a big error I had to fight for my life. But I got away very nicely in the end.
Game 976020
And here's one where I should have accepted the draw offer.....Game 439275
Instead I thought I had a way out of the perpetual check. And, sure enough, I had.
I resign when I know I am lost -and- I am confident that my opponent can follow through. I am playing a game now (I'll post a link as soon as it is over) where I was well in control with 2 solid extra pawns in an endgame. I caught a case of "chess blindness" and walked right into a bishop fork which left me with a knight and 2 pawns for a rook, and I kicked myself for days. Apparently the disease was contagious though, because my worthy opponent jumped on an opportunity to get his King and Rook forked, giving me back the exchange, with another pawn to boot! I guess you never know!
2 years ago I played in the World Open in the U1200 section. Late in the rounds I lost my queen in a game. Felt hopelessly lost for a while... but I kept placing my 2 Bishops in tatically agressive positions and wouldn't you know it... he took my 'hung' rook and lost his Queen. Ended up winning the game.. and later some money. I'll never forget that game.
