    I see what you mean - think you method would be accepted.
    We will have to wait till chess is exhausted, then they will add the
    extra King rule.

    Can you promote a pawn to a second king? You said "any piece".

    And if you have two kings and your opponent mates one of them, is the game over? Or only after he mates all active kings?
