What? Seemed to me when the players are of the same playing strength, the chances are even. The opening played does not matter. When we learned how the game was played, we just started playing. My first game I wanted to say check so bad I said check when I attack the Queen. I was backrank mated alot. I played 1. h4 d5 2. Rh3 B.h3 . G3 B.h1. We played till there were only two Kings on the board. We went to the library and found some books and started playing 1. e4 c5, 1. e4 Nf6, ect. We just played and had fun.Ooh Ra! Ooh Ra! I found that Fischer, Keres, and Larsen were the players most often shown in those books. What openings are those that are too hard for us low rates.
