    3.4 GhZ P-IV HT for eight hours. 23 plies deep is insufficient for Fritz to overcome its fundamental materialism. It still sees -+ even after white plays the correct moves until the 50 move rule comes into effect. Fritz would need to see at least 106 plies deep to solve this problem.

    After white actually plays 1.Kc6, Fritz sees 2.Nxh4 instantly.

    I posted this problem because, like the problem from Topalov-Shirov 1998 that I posted last week (from ChessBasse news), engines are no help.
