Just claimed a timeout win against a new provisional player.
Should I have any pangs of guilt?

Nope,it's not your fault if he couldn't be arsed to move in the game.

We all go through the give them more time etc at the beginning and eventually you wise up when more and more and more don't move within the time especially when you have them banged to rights
Motto unless during your game you come to an agreement i.e. death in family and have to go away for it etc time them out every time

i dont usually take time outs if I have been chatting with the opponent or know him in person and as a result have only ever taken two or three timeouts. Each and every one of the few I have taken has been in an obviously abandoned games.

however i have an opponent who is set to time out in exactly 2 mins (less once i finish this post im sure). he created the game with a one day timout and no timebank so im certain he would time me out at the 1st opportunity. so im gonna do it and i have no guilt for what i am about to do πŸ˜€

.... ooooooo times up πŸ˜€

ok job done and still no guilt πŸ˜€

i play every day that i can, so i dont think i have ever given anyone the chance to do it to me but im certain he would have done the same given the chance (as will any who create a game with such short time controls im sure).
