I could have written something like:

"On behalf of all chess players everywhere thank you for your exciting games."

I'm reminded of some lad who met Paul McCartney and all he could
ask was what were the chords of 'Get Back'.

Yeah that is me watching Alastairs game:

The comments under the picture translate to:

Topalov is wondering wether or not to have another doughnut from that
bag at the side of the board before that tube in the hat nicks one.

Haha. Haven't heard "tube" in ages. Funny how the most popular websites are insults. Youtube and Twitter for instance...

If I was asked to sign a copy of 'Master Chess' I would usually write.

'To (name) whose terrible play inspired the need for this book.'

    ----------------------------------

    "Well Done"
    I'm still groaning about it.
It's what you write in a kids book because they got their homework right.

He's the kind of lad any normal chess player (that is us) would take an instant liking too.
A lot of the nonsense we read about strong players is just that....nonsense.
He made a lot friends that day. I found out later he went back to the Edinburgh
Club for another look around. He's just a guy who loves chess.
He is also very good at it.
