i made the mistake of entering a 14 / 14 tournament in september, just glanced at table round 1 still going 5 months later, all games done except one, out come of that game is obvious, white has not played this month in this game, but has played 70 moves in other games, seems white is just holding up tourney ?? any suggestions? no sure why i give a damn seems to me 35 or so folks who are still alive in this tourney are still waiting for this player? tournament 2603

The person is playing within the agreed timescale. You can't hurry them along and someone has to be last to finish.
Were you first to finish your games in the tournament? If not why were you playing so slow that you held up those that did?

I entered a few but won't any more. You can, like me, resign your sencond round games without moving as this will not affect your rating.

All tournament games should be rated which would stop this from happening.
