Yeah, I watched those vids. Yasser was all over the place in that game... he didn't seem like he was into the game until he was losing.

oops,i was giggling too much at Yassers comment,

&feature=related

his comment comes in part three 🙂

Nunn in his commentary remarks, , 'this move confirms my theory that wearing a tie causes one to play one hundred ELO points weaker'. Brilliant stuff.

Yeah, I believe they do the commentary after the game within hearing distance of eachother.

ok, i wondered, its such a wonderful series to see these legends commentating upon their games! Why the format cannot be emulated again i dont know, i think it would be huge! Watch the Walter Browne and Nunn video, you have Nunns posh English accent and Brownes hustling New York accent, he almost cusses when he makes a sub optimal move, its just pure classic stuff.

15 year old Short vs Byrne.

16:00 into the video Short makes a move with complicated implications noting, "but... he hasn't got much time left. I think this move could give him a lot of trouble."

Byrne: "He would do that right in my time pressure. What a brat!"

Does anyone know how they obtain their realtime thoughts during the game?

Do the players go back add their thoughts for TV after the game?
