You should really block out the name of black on games like this to protect the...well, er... you know what I mean.

Let's hope not. White should have mated on move 16.

I found some pretty apauling games around.

Game 3241911
White decides to generously allow black to take several pieces with the same knight.
Black then seemed to forget for a while that he has two extra pieces and goes out pawn hunting with his king.

Game 3748908
No, not an optical illusion, black did leave his knight en prise for three consecutive moves. Then he decides his opponent deserves another chance and gifts his queen also, in fact it was a cunning sacrifice - so cunning that fritz rates the position as being worth more then a queen..

Game 3533188
First of all, white decides that the bishop is, in fact, a cunning sacrifice that cannot be taken. Secondly, dispite having a rather nice positional advantage, he prefers the plan of doing very little with the pieces and then losing a rook which black converts with no difficulty into a win.

Game 3502981
These 'piece' things are over rated too if you ask me, no need to protect them..... sadly for white there is one piece you cannot recover from blundering.

Indeed,

I guess the free rook was too tempting

White should have mated on move 15. Nf6 instead of e5.
