Originally posted by chesskid001 Does anyone know where the find a recent USCF ratings distribution chart? I can't find one any more recent than one made in November of 2004.
You can look up USCF players' ratings here: http://main.uschess.org/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,181/
And you can get top player lists here: http://main.uschess.org/component/option,com_top_players/Itemid,371/
When I went to a USCF web page it had a December 2007 list. It listed Kamsky at number one with a rateing of 2757. Is this a up todate rateing for this player?
I appreciate your help, but only Zebano understood what I was asking for. I'm not talking about the top 100 lists or the msa look up; i already know how to find those- I'm talking about the ratings distribution- basically it says what percentile you are based on your rating, as well as how many people are at a particular rating, and the average rating of both scholastic and adult players.
I was looking for this too. Ratings are meaningless without knowing the rating distribution chart so I too want to see a more recent one than http://www.uschess.org/ratings/ratedist.php. I know it's an old thread, but if anyone has information, I'm interested.
Ah, I think I found something: http://main.uschess.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=7437
